The parish Lawn Festival at Ss. Cosmas & Damian Parish has been an annual event for over seventy-five years. Traditionally held on the first weekend in August, the Lawn Festival brings together parishioners, former parishioners, other members of the community, and many out-of-town guests for a weekend of fun, games, and old fashioned camaraderie. The biggest part of the Festival is set up under brightly colored tents on the parish lawn. Many game booths and a variety of delicious foods and baked goods can be enjoyed throughout the weekend.

The main objective of the parish Lawn Festival is to raise much needed funds to meet the budgetary obligations of the Grade School. The success of the Lawn Festival hinges on the tremendous support received from the parents of our school children, alumni of the school, and other members of our parish.

The chairperson for the Festival is Whitney Bargerstock. From year to year, many individuals are needed to make the Lawn Festival a success. Any individual who is interested in becoming a chairperson for a particular booth, or just putting in a few hours to help out, can contact the parish rectory.
